Since 2017, World of Afternoon Tea has been providing international cruise ships with enrichment talks on the social history and traditions of English afternoon tea.

No matter in which region of the world the ship is sailing, there is always an interest by guests in knowing more about this universally-loved tradition. Usually given in the ship’s theatre, sometimes the formal lectures are augmented by informal afternoon tea parties hosted by World of Afternoon Tea, giving an enhanced onboard experience. This has often led to guests onboard subsequently inviting World of Afternoon Tea to their own home town, or giving a talk via Zoom.
